去年 Apple 就為 AirPods Pro 推出新一代，但其實品牌自 2021 年後就已沒為 AirPods 推出新版本。不過近日據 Bloomberg 記者 Mark Gurman 報道所提，Apple 供應商將於 5 月開始生產新 AirPods，即是第 4 代 AirPods，並且會有兩個型號可選，預計 9 月或 10 月發布的。

Bloomberg 記者 Mark Gurman 日前報道提到 Apple 供應商將於 5 月開始生產新版第 4 代 AirPods，並有兩個型號可選，其中較高階的一款會跟 AirPods Pro 一樣配備主動降噪功能，另外充電盒會備有喇叭播放 Find My 產品追蹤的聲音，而其他改動就包括起用新外形設計及附有 USB-C 端子之充電盒。
他預料 Apple 會在 9 月或 10 月發布新 AirPods，不過當這款新 AirPods 推出的同時，也代表第 2 代和第 3 代 AirPods 步入停產收場。
